At FramE we believe in a collaborative design process – with Owner, Designer, Contractor and other Project Team members each contributing to a positive outcome. We are committed to joyful expression and taking advantage of the characteristics of the site. We listen to our clients and engage them meaningfully.

Based in Anchorage and working primarily in Southcentral Alaska, we are also available for projects in other parts of Alaska and the United States.

Services offered include: Residential Design, New Dwellings and Addition/Remodels; Construction Documents; Residential Master Planning.

We have substantial experience in design of Rental Property and Accessory Dwelling Units, and smaller living spaces.

Clark Yerrington

Owner/Designer

 

Clark worked as a Designer in various Architectural firms in Anchorage and Seattle from 1983 to 2016, beginning in Drafting/Production and working up to design and management of projects in the $2 million to $12 million range. In 2016 he started FramE in order to concentrate on Residential Design.

Born in 1960 in Seattle, he is the son of Seth W. Yerrington, Architect [1931-2006] and Carolyn C. Chandler [1932-2008]. Both of his parents were accomplished multidisciplinary artists and he grew up immersed in artistic pursuits and a culture of exploratory thought.

Education: BA, University of Puget Sound, 1982. Graduate of Dimond High School, Anchorage, 1978.

Clark's side interests include drawing, photography, light carpentry and bicycling. He has lived in Anchorage's Mt. View neighborhood since 1999, and in Anchorage since 1972 with some time also spent in Seattle and Tacoma, WA.
